How to Determine The Wh(watt-per-hour) of a Powerbank
How to determine the rated energy of a power bank If the rated energy Wh (watt-hour) is not directly marked on the power bank. The rated energy of the power bank can be converted as follows:
If the nominal voltage (V) and nominal capacity (Ah) of the power bank are known, the value of the rated energy can be obtained by calculation: Wh = V x Ah The nominal voltage and nominal capacity are usually marked on the power bank.
If only milliampere-hour (mAh) is marked on the power bank, divide the value by 1000 to get ampere-hour (Ah). For example, the nominal voltage of the power bank is 3.7V, the nominal capacity is 760 mAh, and its rated energy is 760 mAh ÷ 1000 = 0.76Ah3.7V×0.76Ah=2.9Wh.

my power bank has a nominal maximum voltage of 3.4v, it has an mAH or 20,000. to calculate my wH, 20000 mAh ÷ 1000 = 20( 20 x 3,4v) = 68Wh. As you can see 68Wh IS WAY BELOW 100Wh meaning this particular power bank is safe to carry on an airplane.
